1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1½ cups frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
In a skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in soup, milk, and vegetables. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Spread beef mixture in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and tots are golden.
Let rest 5 minutes. Serve warm.
