Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
Press one can of crescent dough into the bottom of the pan and seal seams.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then mix in egg and vanilla.
Spread filling evenly over crust.
Place second can of dough over filling and seal seams.
