This yogurt marinated chicken is ultra-juicy and packed with flavor thanks to a spiced, tangy yogurt marinade. Ideal for grilling, baking, or pan-searing.
2–3 lbs chicken (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts)
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp black pepper
Optional: ½ tsp cayenne or chili flakes
In a bowl, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and spices.
Add chicken and coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Bring chicken to room temp for 20 minutes before cooking.
Grill, bake at 425°F, or pan-sear until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
