Sticky garlic chicken noodles packed with sweet-savory sauce, golden seared chicken, and chewy noodles. Better than takeout and ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Pinch black pepper

  • 12 tbsp oil (for frying)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

  • 2 tbsp water

Other:

  • 810 oz cooked noodles (lo mein, rice noodles, or spaghetti)

  • 45 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp oil (for garlic sauté)

  • Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Toss chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and pepper. Let sit 10–15 mins.

  • Cook noodles and set aside.

  • Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl.

  • Sear chicken in oil over medium-high heat until golden and cooked. Set aside.

  • In same pan, sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds. Add sauce and simmer until thick.

  • Return chicken and noodles to pan. Toss to coat evenly.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.
