Sweet, sticky, and loaded with garlic, this easy noodle stir-fry features golden seared chicken tossed in a rich, glossy sauce. It’s takeout flavor made at home — fast, easy, and totally addictive.

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, diced

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 12 tbsp neutral oil

Sticky Garlic Sauce

  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce

  • 2½ tbsp brown sugar or honey

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes or 1 tsp sriracha

Other

  • 8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)

  • Green onions, chopped

  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Toss chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and garlic powder. Let sit.

  • Cook noodles per package directions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.

  • Stir together all sauce ingredients and set aside.

  • Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked. Remove.

  • In same pan, simmer sauce 1–2 min. Add noodles and toss to coat.

  • Add chicken back in. Stir everything until sticky and glossy.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
