Sweet, sticky, and loaded with garlic, this easy noodle stir-fry features golden seared chicken tossed in a rich, glossy sauce. It’s takeout flavor made at home — fast, easy, and totally addictive.
For the Chicken
1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, diced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp garlic powder
1–2 tbsp neutral oil
Sticky Garlic Sauce
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
2½ tbsp brown sugar or honey
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
4 garlic cloves, minced
Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes or 1 tsp sriracha
Other
8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
Green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds (optional)
Toss chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and garlic powder. Let sit.
Cook noodles per package directions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
Stir together all sauce ingredients and set aside.
Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked. Remove.
In same pan, simmer sauce 1–2 min. Add noodles and toss to coat.
Add chicken back in. Stir everything until sticky and glossy.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
