An easy, one-pan Philly cheesesteak dinner featuring seared steak, caramelized onions and peppers, and gooey melted cheese—all made in under 30 minutes.
1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)
1 large yellow onion, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
6 slices provolone cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Chopped parsley (optional)
Thinly slice steak and vegetables.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned; remove and set aside.
Lower heat, add butter, and sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms (if using) for 8–10 minutes.
Add garlic, seasonings, and Worcestershire; stir well.
Return steak to pan and mix everything together.
Top with provolone slices and shredded mozzarella. Cover and melt the cheese over low heat.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
