  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 68 garlic cloves, minced or sliced

  • 3½ cups low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or basil (optional)

  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a wide skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Pour in broth and cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.

  • Add pasta. Simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and herbs.

  • Serve immediately with extra cheese and herbs on top.
