Quick, saucy, and satisfying, these Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles are made with savory-sweet sauce, crumbled beef, and tender noodles — ready in under 30 minutes.
8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or ramen)
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup beef broth or water
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
3 scallions, chopped
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Cook noodles, drain, and set aside.
In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic and ginger; sauté 1 minute.
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, cornstarch, broth, and sesame oil. Pour into skillet. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Add noodles, toss to coat. Stir in scallions.
Serve hot, topped with sesame seeds if desired.
