A crisp and refreshing twist on the classic, this Modern Waldorf Salad features apples, grapes, celery, toasted walnuts, and a tangy Greek yogurt dressing—perfect for a light lunch or holiday side.

Ingredients

  • 2 crisp apples (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady), diced

  • 1 cup seedless red grapes, halved

  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup toasted walnuts, chopped

  • 2 cups baby arugula or mixed greens (optional)

Dressing:

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients. Adjust seasoning as needed.

  • In a large bowl, toss apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts. Add greens if using.

  • Pour dressing over and fold gently to combine. Chill 15 minutes if desired.

  • Serve topped with extra nuts or herbs.
