A crisp and refreshing twist on the classic, this Modern Waldorf Salad features apples, grapes, celery, toasted walnuts, and a tangy Greek yogurt dressing—perfect for a light lunch or holiday side.
2 crisp apples (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady), diced
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
1 cup celery, thinly sliced
½ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
2 cups baby arugula or mixed greens (optional)
Dressing:
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp honey
Salt and pepper, to taste
In a small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients. Adjust seasoning as needed.
In a large bowl, toss apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts. Add greens if using.
Pour dressing over and fold gently to combine. Chill 15 minutes if desired.
Serve topped with extra nuts or herbs.
