A savory-sweet breakfast sandwich made with juicy maple-glazed chicken, creamy eggs, and sharp cheddar cheese layered inside toasted bagels. Perfect for a comforting morning meal.

2 bagels, sliced
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
1 tablespoon maple syrup
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk or water
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
2 teaspoons butter
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Warm the chicken in a skillet with butter. Drizzle in maple syrup and toss to coat.

  • Toast buttered bagel halves in a skillet, cut-side down, until golden brown.

  • Whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble gently in a nonstick pan over medium-low heat.

  • Layer eggs, maple chicken, and cheddar on the bottom bagel halves. Add the tops.

  • Return assembled sandwiches to the skillet. Cover and heat until cheese is melted, about 3–4 minutes.

  • Slice and serve immediately.
