2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 ½ cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Neutral oil for frying
Hot Honey Glaze:
½ cup honey
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp red pepper flakes
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Whisk buttermilk, eggs, and seasonings in a bowl. Add chicken and marinate for 2–12 hours.
In another dish, mix flour, cornstarch, and spices.
Coat chicken in flour mixture and rest for 15–20 minutes.
Heat oil to 350°F and fry chicken 6–8 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
