1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
1 egg
1/3 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
For the Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Combine turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, green onion, tamari, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until just combined.
Form into 18–20 small meatballs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 6–8 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk honey, tamari, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and simmer 7–8 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens.
Serve warm with garnishes if desired.
