Tender chicken bites coated in a buttery, citrus-honey glaze with a pop of black pepper. Quick to make, full of flavor, and perfect for weeknight meals.

Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless chicken (breasts or thighs), cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp oil (neutral like canola or avocado)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp cracked black pepper
Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.

  • Toss chicken with salt, garlic powder, and cornstarch until evenly coated.

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add chicken in a single layer and sear 6–8 minutes, turning once.

  • In a separate pan, melt butter and stir in honey, lemon juice, zest, and pepper. Simmer briefly.

  • Pour sauce over chicken and toss to coat. Cook 1–2 minutes until glazed.

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
