8 chicken drumsticks
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Pat drumsticks dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer briefly.
Pour sauce over chicken and turn to coat.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, basting once during cooking.
Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end if desired for stickier skin.
