Tender, juicy beef bites slow-cooked in garlic butter and herbs — a high-protein, comforting meal perfect for busy nights.
2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes, fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs
Pat beef dry and season with salt and pepper.
Optional: Sear beef in a hot skillet until browned.
Melt butter and mix with garlic, Worcestershire, seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Add beef to slow cooker. Pour garlic butter mixture over and toss to coat.
Add beef broth and fresh herbs.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry during last 15 minutes.
Remove herbs, taste, and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.
