Quick and flavorful, these garlic butter pork chops are pan-seared to golden perfection and finished with a rich, herb-infused butter. Ready in 20 minutes — perfect for busy weeknights.
4 pork chops (1 inch thick, bone-in or boneless)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1½ tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2–3 garlic cloves, sliced
Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs
Optional: lemon juice for finishing
Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 3–4 min per side.
Reduce heat. Add butter, garlic, and herbs. Baste chops with butter for 1–2 min.
Remove from skillet. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
