Quick and flavorful, these garlic butter pork chops are pan-seared to golden perfection and finished with a rich, herb-infused butter. Ready in 20 minutes — perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (1 inch thick, bone-in or boneless)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1½ tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 23 garlic cloves, sliced

  • Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs

  • Optional: lemon juice for finishing

Instructions

  • Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 3–4 min per side.

  • Reduce heat. Add butter, garlic, and herbs. Baste chops with butter for 1–2 min.

  • Remove from skillet. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
