These soft garlic butter bread rolls are tender, golden, and bursting with garlicky, buttery flavor—perfect for any dinner or holiday table.
3½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk (100–110°F)
1 large egg, room temperature
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Garlic Butter Topping:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley or herbs
In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5–10 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture, egg, and melted butter. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
Divide into 12 pieces, shape into balls, and place in greased baking dish.
Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake rolls for 18–22 minutes, until golden.
Melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes. Stir in parsley.
Brush garlic butter over warm rolls and serve.
