Juicy pan-seared chicken simmered in a rich garlic butter sauce — a quick and flavorful dinner perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts into cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat. Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Pour in broth and scrape browned bits from pan. Simmer 3–5 minutes.

  • Stir in lemon juice, return chicken to pan, and simmer 2–3 minutes more.

  • Spoon sauce over chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
