A rich, creamy taco-inspired casserole loaded with seasoned shredded chicken, ranch and taco spices, melty cheese, and a crunchy topping of Cool Ranch Doritos.
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 packet taco seasoning
1 1/4 cups sour cream (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
3 cups Cool Ranch Doritos, crushed
Optional toppings: green onions, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and taco seasoning.
Stir in 1 cup cheese and sour cream, if using.
Add a layer of crushed Doritos to the baking dish.
Spread half the chicken mixture over the chips and top with cheese.
Repeat layers, ending with more Doritos and remaining cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 10–15 minutes longer until bubbly.
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
