Creamy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs features tender chicken baked in a smooth garlic cream sauce with simple seasonings.

6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Sear chicken in butter until lightly golden; remove.

  • Cook onion, then garlic, in the same skillet.

  • Add broth, cream, and mustard; warm gently.

  • Return chicken to skillet, skin-side up.

  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until done.
