Creamy Jalapeño Popper Chicken Bake layers juicy seasoned chicken with a rich blend of cream cheese, sharp cheddar, spicy jalapeños, and crispy bacon, all baked to golden perfection. It’s a comforting, flavorful main dish with just the right amount of heat.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the dish.

  • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar, jalapeños, and half the bacon. Mix until smooth.

  • Spread the mixture evenly over each chicken breast.

  • Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bacon.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  • Remove foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with green onions and serve.
