Creamy Garlic Chicken is a quick, one-skillet recipe featuring pan-seared chicken in a rich, garlicky cream sauce. It’s perfect for busy weeknights or cozy date nights.
2 large chicken breasts (or 1½ lbs), pounded to even thickness
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
6–8 garlic cloves, minced or sliced
½ cup chicken broth
¾ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Set aside.
Add butter and garlic to skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth. Scrape browned bits. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
Add cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
Return chicken to pan. Spoon sauce over and cook 2–3 more minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
