Golden seared chicken simmered in a rich garlic cream sauce with Parmesan cheese — a fast, flavorful one-pan dinner perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 56 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or thyme (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat and sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add broth and simmer 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  • Stir in cream and simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Add Parmesan and herbs. Stir until smooth.

  • Return chicken to the pan and simmer 2–3 more minutes.

  • Garnish and serve hot.
