Golden seared chicken simmered in a rich garlic cream sauce with Parmesan cheese — a fast, flavorful one-pan dinner perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
5–6 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning or thyme (optional)
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat and sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
Add broth and simmer 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Stir in cream and simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add Parmesan and herbs. Stir until smooth.
Return chicken to the pan and simmer 2–3 more minutes.
Garnish and serve hot.
