8 frozen waffles cut into quarters
4 cups cooked breaded chicken tenders chopped
6 large eggs
2 cups whole milk or half-and-half
1/4 cup maple syrup plus more for serving
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon butter for greasing
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Arrange half of the waffle pieces in the dish and top with half of the chicken and cheese.
Repeat layers with remaining waffles, chicken, and cheese.
Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
