This hearty one-pan dish combines crispy ranch-seasoned potatoes, smoky sausage, and melty cheddar cheese into a craveable, comforting meal perfect for weeknights or parties.
2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, diced
14 oz smoked sausage, sliced
1 packet dry ranch seasoning (or 3 tbsp homemade)
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: 2 oz cream cheese
Green onions or parsley, for garnish
Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss potatoes with butter, oil, ranch mix, and seasonings. Spread in a greased 9×13 dish.
Roast 25–30 mins, stirring once.
Add sausage slices. Roast another 15 mins.
Mix sour cream, cream cheese (if using), and ranch. Add to pan, stir gently.
Top with cheddar. Bake 5–7 mins more, or broil for golden top.
Garnish and serve warm.
