This hearty one-pan dish combines crispy ranch-seasoned potatoes, smoky sausage, and melty cheddar cheese into a craveable, comforting meal perfect for weeknights or parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, diced

  • 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning (or 3 tbsp homemade)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional: 2 oz cream cheese

  • Green onions or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss potatoes with butter, oil, ranch mix, and seasonings. Spread in a greased 9×13 dish.

  • Roast 25–30 mins, stirring once.

  • Add sausage slices. Roast another 15 mins.

  • Mix sour cream, cream cheese (if using), and ranch. Add to pan, stir gently.

  • Top with cheddar. Bake 5–7 mins more, or broil for golden top.

  • Garnish and serve warm.
