A hearty, cheesy one-pan meal with crispy ranch-seasoned potatoes, smoky sausage, and melty cheddar. Family-friendly and perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Yukon gold or red potatoes, diced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 3 tbsp homemade)

  • 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional: chopped green onions, sour cream for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Toss diced potatoes with oil and ranch seasoning. Spread in dish.

  • Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping once, until lightly browned.

  • Add sliced sausage over potatoes. Bake another 10–12 minutes.

  • Top with shredded cheese. Bake 5–7 minutes more, until melted.

  • Garnish and serve hot.
