Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole is a one-skillet, creamy, and comforting meal made with seasoned ground beef, tender rice, and melty cheddar cheese. Easy, hearty, and perfect for busy families.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tbsp butter or oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

  • Chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, sauté onion in butter. Add beef and cook until browned. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.

  • Stir in uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Cover and simmer on low for 18–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender.

  • Stir in 1 cup cheese. Top with remaining cheese. Cover or broil until melted.

  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
