Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole is a warm, hearty dish made with ground beef, cooked rice, tomato sauce, and melty cheddar cheese. It’s a family-friendly, one-pan dinner that’s quick to make and easy to love.

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)

  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce or tomato soup

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: parsley, bell peppers, corn, or green peas

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion and sauté until soft. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.

  • Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

  • Stir in cooked rice and cream soup. Mix well. Optionally stir in 1 cup cheese.

  • Spread mixture into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.

  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let rest before serving.
