These Cheesy Garlic Rolls are soft, buttery, and filled with melty cheese and garlic flavor. Perfect as a side for pasta or soup, or served as a warm, comforting snack.

  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast

  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 large egg

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 tbsp butter (for garlic butter)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.

  2. Add softened butter, egg, salt, and 3 cups flour. Mix to form a dough. Add more flour as needed.

  3. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth. Let rise 1 hour, until doubled.

  4. Make garlic butter: Melt 4 tbsp butter, stir in minced garlic, and parsley.

  5. Punch down dough and divide into 12 pieces. Flatten each, add 1 tbsp mozzarella, and pinch to seal.

  6. Place rolls in greased 9×13 pan. Let rise 30–40 minutes.

  7. Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush rolls with garlic butter and top with Parmesan.

  8. Bake 20–25 minutes. Brush with remaining garlic butter. Serve warm.
