These Cheesy Garlic Rolls are soft, buttery, and filled with melty cheese and garlic flavor. Perfect as a side for pasta or soup, or served as a warm, comforting snack.
3½ cups all-purpose flour
2¼ tsp instant yeast
1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp butter (for garlic butter)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.
Add softened butter, egg, salt, and 3 cups flour. Mix to form a dough. Add more flour as needed.
Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth. Let rise 1 hour, until doubled.
Make garlic butter: Melt 4 tbsp butter, stir in minced garlic, and parsley.
Punch down dough and divide into 12 pieces. Flatten each, add 1 tbsp mozzarella, and pinch to seal.
Place rolls in greased 9×13 pan. Let rise 30–40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush rolls with garlic butter and top with Parmesan.
Bake 20–25 minutes. Brush with remaining garlic butter. Serve warm.
