Creamy, bold, and full of Cajun flavor, this chicken spaghetti brings Southern comfort to your plate with just one skillet and minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • 8 oz spaghetti

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • ½ small onion, diced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: 1 bell pepper (sliced), 1 cup spinach

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken with Cajun spice. Sear in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

  • Cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • In same skillet, melt butter. Sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and optional bell pepper; cook until tender.

  • Deglaze pan with broth. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Simmer gently until smooth.

  • Add cooked spaghetti. Toss to coat. Loosen with pasta water if needed.

  • Slice chicken and return to pan. Heat through.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
